The Comissão Instaladora do INL, a NPO in charge of the setting up phase of INL, will offer a highly competitive salary and compensation plan in line with those offered by other international research organizations. All research positions involve a time frame of 2+2 years in our laboratories in Braga and includes temporary research stages in the partner institution. After 4 years, selected researchers may have the opportunity of continuing their research career at INL.

Ideal candidate would be a highly motivated PhDs in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering and other scientific fields with strong innovative attitude, outstanding teamwork spirit, 1-3 years of relevant postdoctoral research experience in synthesis and characterization of nanostructured materials and flexibility for temporary geographic displacement in Austin, Texas (US).

Excellent communication skills are required; fluency in English is mandatory.
